Cognitive Accessibility Course Samples

For my graduate-level developmental psychology class in 2023, I created an Articulate Storyline 360 course focused on cognitive accessibility. This course was part of a hypothetical series aimed at helping K-12 teachers at a virtual school increase the cognitive accessibility of their online courses. The focus of this particular course was supporting students on the autism spectrum. Below are a few samples from the course, and the entire course can be viewed through the PDF document to the right.

This lesson page incorporated interactivity and autonomy through allowing learners to choose which developmental theory they reviewed first.

This lesson page features one of the developmental theories from the above sample. On the right side of the page, learners clicked on each button to review specific stages of development.
